Playing Santa is hard work! Yesterday we had our toy/ food box delivery. We loaded up 12 trucks, turkey food boxes( a turkey and all the trimmings, bag of oranges and mixed nuts, cookies and candies) Tons of toys, all wrapped and with the kids names on them, and some families we had utility wavers where their elec , gas and rent were paid for 2 months. One truck was loaded with trees and boxes of decorations donated by local stores... and we set off! It started at 8 am and finished at 6 pm. Everything was donated by private citizens and business in town. One unkown person brought 15 Playstation 4's from Amazon that were delivered to our Council Hall last week. When word got out a few more people in the community brought a few more. The familes are some of the most needy in our area and though out the year their names are added to the list along with how many kids, kid's names and ages. The best was the reaction from those kids. Things like : Santa did not forget about me! Every child will open on Christmas morning 3 toys and get a new coat. The Playstations went to homes with older kids, ages 7-12. One little boy we let open the play station while we were there. He was a straight A student on dean list all year, all he could say was OMG! OMG! OMG! We even set it up for him. His father passed away a few years ago. He has 4 silblings and they all share a 2 bedroom home. At the end of the day we all were worn out but every sore muscle was worth it. I love my community and the heart it has. And it is true: It takes a village. On Christmas morning every kid in our community will have food, a warm home, and toys. That is what Christmas to me is all about. We are already planning for next year.
You are wonderful and I am glad you did what you did you are the real epitome of what Christmas is all about. If there was more people like you in this world it would be a much better place. This is my first Christmas without a special person and it has not been easy especially Elizabeth.....no amount of presents could ever bring her father home, but all we can do is make things as happy as we can for her. What you did is something I think everyone in their own community should do.
I can imagine all the happy faces and all te warmth and love you gave to them my angel. I am so proud of you and all the people who helped to make all this. You all are trully the most amazing santas ever.
Dracula Mini Series starts in Jan on Netflix. The trailer looks pretty decent
Dracula is an upcoming television series developed by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, based on the novel of the same name by Bram Stoker. The series is being developed for broadcast and release on BBC One and Netflix, and will consist of three episodes. Claes Bang is set to star as the title character. Dracula is set to premiere on 1 January 2020 and will be broadcast over three consecutive days. According to creators Dracula in their version is "the hero of his own story" – the central focus of the narrative, main character, rather than a shadowy villain for more traditional heroes to overcome. Also according to creators, as with their TV series Sherlock, their version of Dracula is both faithful and faithless at the same time, since they've done stuff from original novel, a lot of new stuff [that wasn't in the novel] and ignored some stuff from the novel.
It's been a long busy day with the kittens, Tetley and Baby Lily. The Brats (Tetley and Baby Lily Cat) Got their gift today. Which I had to put together. Soon as I managed to finish the darn thing, Tetley found his spot and is now known as King Tetley.
Next they decided to play Attack Humans from under the Christmas Tree; which consist of hiding under the tree and when anyone walked by jumping out and attacking. Within the red circle are two kittens ready to ponce. Note the lack of decorations lower part of the tree.
Now they are worn out, me too! These two behave like they are from the same litter. They always mange to fall asleep in such a way I only have use of one arm.

Ummm Dude, Cancer just gave the site a full update, 2.0!!! How can you say he isn't doing much. Cancer is always working in background on this site. This site is his dream, his baby! Maybe if you would just stop whining so much and do your part in making the community better. Do you think new folk who happen upon your journal on day one is helping them to consider staying????? So if you want to blame someone.... look in the mirror.
Plus I swear about 6x a month you post how you hate this community, how we are all fake and ignorant 'humans' and you are leaving. I love the site and Cancer is brilliant when looking at all the site stuff he created, I haven't seen anything like this on any other site close to this. If I remember correctly Jett is only closing Vampire Freaks because he doesn't have the time to dedicate to the site anymore. Also he's wanting to persue other things. All good things have to end someday, but unfortunately VR isn't one of them. As long as Cancer is here, VR will continue to exist.

Ok, VampireKing777, Again This Site is a Community as I told you numerous times, a place to come to talk and get to know people. This kind of language and attitude is disrespectful, this is not how some of us present ourselves. I have been on this site for a while and have many family and friends here, our conversation last night on facebook was about this exact thing and Communities which there is on and offline. So, to be clear and to the point, respect goes both ways, stop acting like people on here are against you, their reality not. Yes, this Site is all things Vampire, doesn't mean everyone here is or claims to, there are many others, who have their own beliefs so respect that pleases, as I told you already. This world you refer to is a website with covens, houses, and other features so were people get online to chat get to know others all over the World, as an Internet Community of Like-minded people who like this site, That's what this site is. So for being direct but I have my reason, not trying to cause an argument just wanted to put some clarity to this subject. Have a nice evening
I'm sorry if you feel that Jett betrayed the community, but he did give members a heads up several months in advance that the site was closing. Vampire Freaks was Jett's baby, just like Vampire Rave is Cancer's. I don't blame him for not passing ownership of the site over. I don't think there's anyone that can run the place as well as him. All I can say is just enjoy the site as much as possible before it closes.
Well it don't matter juff still betrayed his community and see why their are not to many goth pages anymore cause some times we need facts not beliefs and as people. So, I have been trying to emphasize to my family that I'm an adult who has no children, makes a good salary. Thus, the moment something even crosses my mind that I might want it, I've already ordered it. But they all still feel the need to buy me things, so I just made a random list of shit on Amazon to order for me. Curious to see if anybody gets me the five pound bag of just strawberry Starbursts.
Got a decent Black Monday/Cyber Monday deal. I needed a new Kindle Fire. I tend to read books on it I buy off Amazon. Also, I watch Mogy's Youtube on my kindle at night. So, I hit up Amazon yesterday. They had them on sale! Yeah me! I am not into a Kindle Fire the size of a TV, so I looked at the smaller ones. Ok Kindle 7 normally $49, was on sale for 29.99. Somehow I had a $20 credit. Take off $20. Now we are down to 9.99. Free 2 day shipping for me! yeah! Taxes... $2 something... Total price of a $50.00 Kindle Fire include taxes: $12.00. Yeah Me! Now I wished I had brought a few more.
